Wolverine goes searching for a man involved in a domestic abuse case against a wife and daughter.Logan (Wolverine) stands outside the morgue of a Westchester County hospital, eavesdropping on two police officers, Cowaher and Dunleavy, discussing the death of a local woman, Linda Higgins. Dunleavy points out a large welt on the woman's back.In the waiting room, a doctor delivers the news to Linda's sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and John Kole. He further informs them Linda's daughter, Jane, is in critical condition, suffering from head trauma. Michelle blames Linda's husband.Logan gets on his motorcycle and heads to the Higgins household, not far from Xavier's school, recalling his previous encounters with the abusive man and regretting he didn't permanently stop him before the inevitable happened. There, Logan sneaks past the police stake-out to examine the crime scene, noting footprints, oil stains on the driveway and an empty beer can. Trusting his instincts, he follows a trail...
