The Wendigo lies in wait as Wolverine returns to his old stomping grounds at a Weapon X facility.Wolverine resumes his quest of self-rediscovery to determine just what it is he "is the best at" and to help him clear his mind, sorting through recent events. He treks solo through the woods of northern Canada, finding himself drawn to the abandoned Weapon X facility where he was experimented upon years earlier.Meanwhile, miles to the north, a Wendigo stalks the forest and the spirit that inhabits the creature senses the return of a familiar enemy. It howls and then heads south.Although the Weapon X facility is deserted, intrusion detection systems are still active and being monitored by the Canadian military. Wolverine sneaks past these safeguards to enter the building. Soon, he comes upon the tank he had once been immersed within.
