Hydra and the Hand face Wolverine’s wrath following his “marriage” to one of Madripoor’s top crime lords.On the grounds of the palace of the late Ruling Prince of Madripoor, Sabretooth stands triumphant, having just defeated Logan (Wolverine) and Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) on the day of Logan’s obligatory wedding to the Viper. He then ponders how best to make use of Kitty, while during the fracas, Viper had vanished.Near the waterfront of the Lowtown of Madripoor, a combined force of Hydra soldiers and Hand ninjas execute their mission, part of a plan to destabilize the island nation. The unlikely allies debate the merits of their respective methods, when a shield-slinging combatant stirkes from the shadows, taking them out one by one. They think their assailant is Captain America until his ‘shield’ lands in the light, where they can see it is merely a trash can lid. In desperation, the last Hydra grunt standing detonates an explosive, setting the area on fire.Soon, Wolverine emerges...
