As Logan prepares to fight the possessed knife-juggling mime he's found in his new apartment, the sight of the mysterious box he's safekeeping sparks a memory. He recalls when he was in Japanese-occupied China and encountered Imperial soldiers threatening an aged teacher and a young American wielding a staff. Logan's valor in defending the pair impressed Captain Ogun, who offered to teach Logan martial arts.As the fight between Logan and the mime continues, Ororo Monroe and Jean Grey, arriving for a visit, join the fray. The entity possesses Jean, allowing the mime to escape. Jean repels the spirit, which then takes over Helen Bach's mind.Through a mystic orb, these events are watched by Daimon Hellstorm.
