Immediately after the debut tale by acclaimed artist Howard Chaykin and co-scripter Denny O'Neil, Iron-Wolf became the lead protagonist in the "Weird Worlds" franchise, which highlighted the intergalactic outlaw's heroic bouts with leviathans, ogres, and other equally grotesque repulsions.
