Meanwhile, Dr. Valerie Cooper is attacked by Dire Wraiths!</em></p><p>Today is probably going to be the saddest day Ororo has ever gone through in her life, she has lost her powers, her life and everything that ever made her what she is all thanks to the mutant inventor Forge. In this issue of The Uncanny X-men we see how Storm will ever cope with the loss of her powers how she survives and most of all will she forgive Forge? After got shot by Forge's invention used by Henry Gyrich, Forge rescued Storm and took her to her apartment at Eagle Plaza. There they share a mutual respect and interest by each other. Meanwhile Professor X and Nightcrawler are looking for Storm but can't reach her even with Cerebro. In Mississipi, a Dire Wraith attacks and kills Val Cooper's partner and then tries to kill her, but Rogue rescue her even being mad at her because last issue attack. Storm listen a phone talk between Forge and Gyrich and discovers it was Forge who invented the gun. She gets mad and runs away from the building.</p>
