The Defenders attempt some R&R time, until Jack Norriss finds himself in hot water with Nick Fury! On her return to Avengers Mansion, Hellcat is attacked by an amnesiac Wonder-Man. What has pushed Wonder Man over the edge? And will the Defenders be able to bail Norriss out of his latest woes?Hellcat and Valkyrie leave Hulk and Nighthawk, and then Hulk jumps away, leaving Nighthawk on his own. Meanwhile, Nick (Max) Fury has his men carry the unconscious body of Jack Noriss, which Moon Knight sees and feels he needs to stop. He rescues Noriss, but Fury and his men get away. Valkyrie visits Clea at the Sanctum Sanctorum, while Hellcat enters the Avengers Mansion. The Avengers aren't there, but she runs into Wonder Man and assumes he's not meant to be there. In their resulting scuffle, they inadvertently bring a wall down on top of themselves. Moon Knight takes Noriss to Valkyrie and reluctantly asks for her help, explaining how he ended up in Fury's custody. They head to Avengers Mansion...
