But why does this adversary blame Peter for the mishap in the laboratory -- and just how far will he take his quest for vengeance? Part 2 (of 4). Charlie, panicked and covered in his skinsuit, attacks firemen who try to pull him from the wreckage of his lab. One fireman dies as a result. Peter hears about the explosion and goes to investigate. Later, Charlie arrives at Peter's apartment asking for his help. Again denying responsability, Charlie wants to blame the accident on Spider-Man. When Peter tries to convince him to turn himself in, Charlie exhibits enhanced strenght and threatens to kill Peter and his loved ones if Peter doesn't help him.
