Arthur Shaman shows up and hypnotizes Barnett to come with him.Patsy Walker and Kyle Richmond come back from a night on the town to discover Ms. Marvel in his apartment.  She tells them that her seventh sense has warned her of an attempt on the lives of the Defenders.Shaman works with AIM scientists to get revenge on Ms. Marvel for her recent raid on AIM's headquarters.
